Join us for the New York City launch of Before I was a Critic I was a Human Being, featuring a conversation between author Amy Fung and Maria Hupfield. Taking a closer examination of settler colonialism and identity through the lens of a national art critic, this collection of essays follows the tangents of a foreign-born perspective and the complexities and complicities in participating in ongoing acts of colonial violence.
