Ecopoetry from Poland: Julia Fiedorczuk’s “Oxygen”

Julia Fiedorczuk is one of Poland’s most creative and outspoken women poets. With a dry wit reminiscent of Nobel Laureate Wisława Szymborska, Fiedorczuk’s work tries to shift our perspectives by bringing out the crucial role of nature and biology in our everyday experiences. Along with translator, poet, and scholar Karen Kovacik, Fiedorczuk will discuss and read from Oxygen, her first full collection translated into English.
