Gentrification Tour of Downtown Brooklyn

September 8, 2019 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Myrtle Avenue and Jay Street
NY 11201

This tour will highlight the development that has recreated downtown Brooklyn as a result of the Downtown Brooklyn Rezoning of 2004. We will also go into political conversations around the use of the 421a subsidy to build new affordable housing and the use of eminent domain at Atlantic Yards in the construction of the Barclays Center. This tour is led by FUREE organizer, Michael Higgins Jr. (This event is held at a separate location.)

10% of ticket sales will be donated to BAN (Brooklyn Anti-Gentrification Network). Book at
