A panel of New York theater artists discuss the mid-century American writer Jane Bowles: why we read her, why she still inspires us to make weird things, and what those things are. Participants will include playwrights Sibyl Kempson and Julia Jarcho as well as performers from their upcoming Bowles-influenced shows, Elevator Repair Service’s work-in-progress “Fondly, Collette Richland” and Jarcho’s “Nomads,” which will open in May at the Incubator Arts Project.
