In Organic Revolutionary: A Memoir of the Movement for Real Food, Planetary Healing, and Human Liberation, Grace Gershuny traces the evolution of the organic movement and her experiences as a grassroots organizer that led to her work in helping develop organic standards for USDA. Grace will discuss some of the influences on her own thinking, such as the work of social ecologist Murray Bookchin, and challenge participants to become organic revolutionaries.
