“very good” – Zine Reading and Conversation about Spirituality, Care Work, and Collective Action

Join interfaith chaplain and gender doula Kamryn Wolf for the NYC release of their zine very good. Part manifesto, part poetry, part theological reflection on gender transition — very good posits an orientation towards healing rooted in ritual, collective action, and a queer practice of the divine. Following the reading there will be time for conversation about the piece and Kamryn’s work as a gender doula.

Kamryn Wolf is a Master of Divinity student at Union Theological Seminary (NYC) where they study ritual and spiritual care in queer and trans communities. They are a chaplain at Albany Medical Center, and collaborator with performance artist Hana van der Kolk on the ongoing project cocodamah (collective containers for desire and maybe also healing), and gender doula. They reside in Troy, NY.
